Discovering Val di Chiana

The itinerary develops between Crete Senesi and Val di Chiana. Val di Chiana, as the so many archeological sites demonstrate, has been the craddle of many ancient civilazations.

There is little traffic on the first quarter of the itinerary, the traffic is quite intense on the second quarter and little on the rest. You can find fountains and bars for water.

You can choose an extra loop that will lead you to admire the Gargonza castle. To visit also the village of Lucignano.

MONTISI TOUR

an itinerary between Crete Senesi and Val d’Orcia

This itinerary will lead you from the roughness of crete senesi to the sweet hills of val d’orcia. You will be able also to discover the Grance, the one in Serre di Rapolano and the one in Montisi, that carcterized the agriculture system in the province of Siena during the middle age.

There is little traffic on this itinerary and you can find fountains and bars for water.

You can visit the Grancia and its Museum in Serre di Rapolano, the truffle Museum and Bosco della Ragnaia in San Giovanni d’Asso, Palazzo Corboli Museum in Asciano
